In October 2018, the New Life Fellowship of Churches embarked on their first fact-finding Churches embarked on their first fact-finding

mission trip to Sierra Leone. The purpose of the trip was to meet with the community impacted by the 2017 mudslides and learn more about the people of Sierra Leone. During the trip, the team visited the sites most impacted by the mudslides. Additionally, approximately 500 meals were served to local churches & schools; goods donated from people in the U.S. were distributed to over 200 church members; Gift bags and a monetary seed was given to 18 clinic staff & volunteer workers; and relationships were fostered with the Ministry of Health. Moreover, the team visited 2 government clinics and 1 private hospital funded by a donor from Scotland as well as the Ministry of Education.
